Know which suppliers need action first
Prewave Scoring combines everything our AI knows about a supplier with the data you add, creating a continuously updated supplier score. Rather than a global rating, scoring covers the risks your team chose to track, weighted to suit your business.
How it works
1. Benchmark
Every supplier has a score from day one
Scoring starts from where a supplier operates, the industry it operates in, and the goods it produces.
Specialist agents build those industry and commodity registers from continuous monitoring, while independent supply chain experts verify them.
)
2. Model
Score the site, not the region
Two plants in the same country can carry very different risk profiles.
Using peer-reviewed scientific data on global exposure, specialist agents give the probability of a damaging event at that specific site.
)
3. Weight
Decide what counts, and how much
You choose which risks belong in a perspective, from forced labour to natural disasters. You can also define heavily each category factors into the final score.
The same supplier will then show one score for compliance and another for resilience.
)
4. Enrich
The data you already pay for counts
Your Moody’s, Dun & Bradstreet or Coface data, alongside your audits and your own qualification records, feed the score directly.
This means the data you source builds the complete risk picture, rather than sitting in a separate tab.
)
5. Surface
Keep the worst risk in view
Strong performance in one risk category does not cancel out a serious problem in another.
Ongoing events at a supplier influence the score over time. For example, a confirmed insolvency takes it straight to the highest risk category.

Product Update
Why the bar for supplier risk scoring keeps moving
For most of the last decade, supplier risk scoring meant pulling country indices, sector ratings and audit findings into a dashboard.
That worked when risk was a quarterly conversation. However, now that disruption lands more often, site-level data has caught up.
